"Manga UP!" (“Service”) has a comment function (“Comment Function”) that allows users to post comments on Manga and other content in the Service (collectively, “Content”) in order to make the Service more enjoyable.

Square Enix Co., Ltd. ("Company") has established these guidelines ("Guidelines") to make the Comment Function enjoyable and comfortable for all users. Your use of the Comment Function is subject to these Guidelines.

Please read these Guidelines carefully before using the Comment Function.

Many users use the Comment Function. Therefore, you have to be considerate of other users. Compared to the real world, you can only express your opinions in writing, which increases the possibility of misunderstanding. Please be careful not to offend others, harm others, or violate these Guidelines.

If your post violates these Guidelines, we may restrict your use of the Comment Function or suspend your account of the Service. Please note that if your account is suspended, not only will the use of the Comment Function be restricted, but you will not be able to use the Service.

The Comment Function is made available to users in order to encourage users to post cheers to the Content. Users may also access and read such posted cheers.

We welcome your cheers and comments, telling those who have not yet read the Content how good it is, or mentioning what you like about the Content or the characters, and we look forward to working together with you to bring the Content to life.

Posting the following comment is prohibited. If any of the following applies, we may, at our sole discretion and without notice to you, delete the posted comment, suspend the use of the Comment Function, or suspend your account of the Service. We assume no obligation to monitor or delete posted comment.

• Comment that deviates from the topic of the Content for which the comment is intended;
• Comment that deviates from the purpose of the Comment Function;
• Comment that consists of a string of meaningless characters or empty spaces;
• Comments that are posted for multiple times;
• Comments that involves or encourages criminal activities;
• Comments that discriminates against other users or third parties (including, organizing a group that incites discrimination using the Comment Function), insults or slanders, defames or discredits others, or constitutes harassment;
• Comments that we determine to cause mental distress of others;
• Any defamatory or offensive comments;
• Comments considered objectionable in terms of public order and morals:
• Comments that include obscene expressions, and expressions such as propaganda and political activities;
• Comments intended for commercial activities, sales activities and missionary activities;
• Comments that violate applicable laws and regulations;
• Comments that include personal or personally identifiable information;
• Comments that are antisocial, immoral and potentially harmful to other users;
• Comments that impersonate third parties or mislead others;
• Comments that reproduce, copy, modify, add, adapt and use all or part of software and data used or provided in the Service;
• Comments that are detrimental to the interest of the Company and the Service;
• Comments that impedes, obstructs or interferes with the operation of the Service or the use thereof;
• Comments intended to condemn or criticize specific individuals;
• Comments that violates the proprietary rights, intellectual property rights (including copyrights, trademark rights, and all other intellectual property rights), honor, reputation, or rights of privacy and any other rights of the Company, other users, or third parties;
• Comments for RMT (Real Money Trade) purpose; and
• Comments that the Company deems inappropriate.

If the Company determines that your nickname set in the profile settings is inappropriate as a name used in the Service, including, but not limited to, any nickname that infringes privacy or other rights of a third party or a nickname that offends public order and morals, the Company may suspend the use of the Comment Function or your account of the Service.

Subject to your local law, by posting the comment to the Comment Function, you grant the Company the unrestricted, worldwide, irrevocable, perpetual, and cost-free right to use, copy, modify, distribute, disclose, sell, sublicense, display, publicly perform, publish, broadcast, translate, make derivative works of, promote, and otherwise exploit your comment without any compensation, notice, or attribution to you, and to allow other third parties to do the same. To the maximum extent permitted by your local law, you waive any moral rights you have in the comment.
